Comments:
A few years ago while ordering a set of 4 Electro-Harmonix power tubes (6L6GC), the vendor and i were talking about how weird the Electro-Harmonix logo is, and it reminded both of us of the Santana Amigos album for some reason.

The tubes came about a week later and as a joke he had thrown in a set of these guitar strings.  And you know, i just haven't been as excited about free picks ever since getting free strings.

Anyway, it was kindof a big deal, because to me the Electro-Harmonix strings played and felt slightly better than the EXL110s and 2221s; but they sounded *significantly* better, especially clean to mildly crunchy!

Obviously i've come across strings that were in some way superior to the brands that i've been using for more than twenty years.  But there would have to be a CRAZY difference in order for me to pay alot more money for them except in certain situations.
Turns out one of those certain situations is when recording with my Telecaster.

It does seem like these strings wear out pretty quickly, but then when i have them on a guitar i play it non-stop; at least at home and practice - i haven't used these strings long enough to trust them out live.

Highly recommended!
